Indiana Horse Council Foundation Scholarship

2022 Garrett Borton Service Scholarship Award

All final year horse & pony members who plan some type of post-secondary education/training are eligible for the Award.

Members do not have to be 10 year members to be eligible. The post-secondary activity can be academic education or vocational training.

The award is $500 and is based on the service of the 4H member throughout their career in the 4H Horse & Pony Club.

Required is a letter of recommendation from the member’s township horse & pony leader detailing the member’s service at the township, county, and state levels as applicable.

The deadline for returning the application is June 1, 2021.

Scholarship will be presented on Friday, July 8th At 7 PM during the Awards & Recognition Ceremonies.

2022 Craig Schafer Scholarship

1)Scholarship is available to any 4H horse and pony member in their last year of eligibility in the program. You do not have to be a 10 year 4H member,

2) Scholarship to be used for post-secondary education.

3) Fill out the application entirely. Use extra sheets of paper if necessary and attach to the application.

4) Completed application accompanied by a letter of recommendation from your township leader.

5) Applications can be mailed to Information coming soon,

6) Presentation of scholarship will be Friday July 8th at Awards & Recognition Ceremonies at 7:00 pm.

7) The award is $500.
